||Why is it that when I bring my digital files over to my computer’s hard drive, I cannot save it under the same name after editing? However, as long as I change the file name it can be saved to the hard drive, floppy or other media?
|The reason is due to file attributes which are handled by the operating system in use. Just “un-check” the file attributes on your photo files from either archive or read-only. To remove the marks from the check boxes in file properties, simply right click with your mouse on the affected file or files. You will then be able to save them under the same original name.
